Family Meeting for Worship

Each 5th Sunday at 11am, Sandy Spring Monthly Meeting has a special Family Meeting for Worship in our historic Meeting House. Families with children of all ages worship together as part of the whole Meeting community, with a special welcome to those who are full of fidgets and wiggles. There will be a fidgety activity to help us focus our minds on a special introductory story. Following the story, we are invited to reflect and respond with a message of our own if we are so inspired. This is a warm welcome to worship for all seekers who are curious about Quaker worship but nervous about having to sit still for a full hour without wiggles and whispers. After worship, we will have fellowship and healthy snacks in the Community House. Please join us!
