A Date with Desserts to Address Death

Very likely you have your last will and testament completed with all the i’s dotted and the t’s crossed. You may have assigned guardians for your children should anything tragic happen to you. But have you discussed with your loved ones what medical steps you do and don’t want taken in case you cannot speak for yourself?  Have you considered what you want to have done with your body after you die?  Having a plan for these and other death-related items is a way to show your love for those you leave behind.

So what is A Date with Desserts to address Death? Join us for a lively presentation and conversation about medical Advance Directives and after-death body options while you enjoy some tasty treats on Saturday, October 5 at 7:00 pm in the Lyceum.

This program is appropriate for anyone age 18 or older.  No child care is provided.  Please feel free to bring a simple dessert to share if you are so moved.

Presenters include Anne Thompson, Kim Bartley, Mike Shick, Patti Nesbitt and Amy Schmidt Stowe.
