Spring Open House

Our Spring Open House is a special invitation to the children and families of Sandy Spring Friends School to join us for a day of worship, fellowship, food, and learning. Come see how 21st Century Quakers gather together in community!

On Sunday, April 19, we invite you to join any or all of our First Day morning activities:

  • 9:00 am Meeting for Worship in the Meeting House

  • 10:00 am Bible Study in Community House room 204

  • 11:00 am Meeting for Worship in the Meeting House

  • 11:00 am First Day School

    • Childcare in the Nursery starting at 11:00

    • K-5 children begin worship in the Meeting House at 11:00 and follow their teachers to the Community House at 11:15

    • Young Friends (middle & high school) gather in the Lyceum at 11:00

  • 12:00 pm Simple Lunch in the Lyceum

  • 12:30 pm Beekeeping Symposium brought to us by Friends in Unity with Nature Committee

For families staying for the Beekeeping Symposium, supervised outdoor games will be available for younger children at 12:30 pm.
